The City Building will be closed on July 3rd for Independence Day Holiday.

Our efforts to clean up our city and the blight program have led City leaders to arrange for a once a month "large item" pickup for our residents.  The "Large Item Day" will be the first Tuesday of every month.  Items for pick up will be furniture, appliances, etc. Large items do not include excessive yard debris, tree limbs or construction materials. Items with freon are not accepted.

Please call CSI at 513-771-4200 to report that you have a large item and what the items are in advance so they can prepare for the type of truck sent on this day.

To obtain the form to apply for a special license plate for disabled persons, go to http://mvl.ky.gov/MVLWeb/. Click on License Plates, then click on item #8, Disabled License Plates.

If you would like to rent a trash toter from CSI to help keep our city cleaner and nicer contact CSI at 513-771-4200.   They are lightweight and easy to roll back and forth from house to curb.  They keep animals out of your trash and seldom get blown over.  Toters are available in 65 gallon and 95 gallon and rent for $3.50 a month. A smaller toter may be available for recycling use - check with CSI.

Tax bills have been mailed for this year (first week of October).You may view your tax bills on line and check to see if they have been paid by either you or your morgage company.   In the future we are hoping to send reminders via e-mail to those who have not paid their tax bills.  The new tax program is capable of holding e-mail addresses and phone numbers for residents.  This information could be very useful to the city in time of emergencies, to send reminders or even to send the city newsletter via e-mail.  If you would like the city to do this please send an e-mail to clerk@southgateky.org and supply us with your e-mail address and phone number.  Thank you.
