With two staff members, vacations and other events require that we close the office periodically during the lunch hour. You may wish to call to confirm that the office is open before stopping at the City Building Office during lunch hours. Thank you.

| Memorial Day Parade & Ceremony May 27, 2013 Monday May 27, 10:00 AM - Parade begins at 10 am and will end at the Memorial at Evergreen & Electric. 2013 Grand Marshal is Gene Enzweiler. A Memorial Day ceremony will follow with comments and remembrances. Ice cream and cake served at Southgate VFW after ceremonies end. |
| LARGE ITEM TRASH PICKUP - FIRST TUESDAY OF EACH MONTH Tuesday June 4, 8:00 AM - The efforts to clean up Southgate plus the blight program have led City leaders to arrange for a once per month "large item" pickup for residents. The "Large Item Day" will be the first Tuesday of every month. Items for pick up will be furniture, appliances, and is limited to one or two items Large items do not include excessive yard debris, tree limbs or construction materials. Items with freon are not accepted. Please call CSI at 513-771-4200 to report that you have a large item and a general description of the items in advance so they can prepare for the type of truck sent on this day.
